Car parking for the Festival of Hope on Saturday 14th June is available at the nearby University Car Parks.

The tariffs for the University car parks at a weekend are:

£1.00 - 1hr
£2.00 - 2hrs
£3.00 - all day

There are five car parks that will be available to use and these are as follows: The Mount Pleasant Car Park opposite the Metropolitan Cathedral by the University Sports and Fitness Centre. Bedford House Car Park opposite the Cambridge Pub on Cambridge Street. Build up Projects
Part of the Festival of Hope is the Merseyfest style projects that will be going on throughout the Mersey region in the three weeks leading up to the street celebration. Projects being formed include a momentous initiative to clean up the Loop Line, funded by Faiths4Change, which will provide £2,000 for each church that wants to clear up a section of the line close to them.

Global Magnitude
The Festival of Hope street celebration will have attending it representatives from 40 different nations, with international delegates from The Big Hope at Liverpool Hope University joining with the international artists of City Sings Gospel 2008 on Hope Street for the carnival.
